Metlivi Friend Privacy
This notice applies to the Metlivi Friend iPhone and Apple Watch apps, operated by METLIVI PTE. LTD.. It describes the current app; other Metlivi products and this website follow their own stated practices.
On-device interactions
Metlivi Friend processes core interactions on-device without an account, advertising, analytics or cloud chat. The developer does not receive your interaction content. With permission, the microphone measures sound level without recording or recognizing speech. Motion signals and authorized HealthKit step readings stay local for interactions, activity displays and daily rewards.
Local records
Local records include home and animal names, random account and animal identifiers, ownership and transfer receipts, state, discoveries, friendship history, Gold, items, accessories and work sessions. Input text is consumed from a bounded local queue; the app does not create long-term chat memory. A random user identifier in Keychain may remain after app deletion or reinstallation.
Care photos
Meal and water photos use the system camera and an on-device Apple model. The photo, capture time, animal ownership, classification and care state are saved in a file-protected local journal excluded from cloud backup. You can delete photos; completed care and reward receipts remain to prevent duplicate rewards. Photos are not uploaded or transferred to Watch or nearby friends.
Nearby connections and Apple Watch
An authenticated nearby connection that you explicitly start can transfer the selected animal's permitted ownership information, history, resources and virtual items. It does not transfer private identity keys or photo journals. A paired Apple Watch receives permitted animal details and resource status through system Watch Connectivity. These paths do not use a developer server.
Permissions, retention and deletion
Local files use system file protection. App deletion removes the local container; Apple backups, migration and Keychain retention depend on system settings and each file's backup restrictions. Revoke permissions in Settings and continue using features that do not require them.
Contact and this website
Contact opens the Metlivi contact page in an external browser without attaching interaction content. Information you choose to submit there is governed by the website's privacy policy, separately from local pet data.

照料照片
现拍食物与饮水功能使用系统相机和端侧 Apple 模型。照片、拍摄时间、动物归属、分类结果与照料状态保存在受文件保护且排除云备份的本机照片日志。用户可删除照片；已完成的照料与奖励凭据保留以避免重复奖励。照片不会上传，也不会传给 Watch 或附近朋友。
附近连接和 Apple Watch
你主动发起并认证的附近连接可传递指定动物的归属资料、允许的历史、资源和虚拟物品；不传家庭身份秘密或照片日志。配对 Apple Watch 通过系统 Watch Connectivity 接收获准的动物资料与资源状态。以上不经过开发者服务器。
权限、保留和删除
App 本地文件使用系统文件保护。删除 App 会移除其本机容器；系统备份、迁移和 Keychain 保留取决于 Apple 系统设置与各类文件的备份限制。你可在系统设置撤销权限，继续使用不依赖该权限的功能。
