Recurring War or Conflict Dreams: Separate Recent Information from Dream Details

Describe the conflict before naming it

Write the first observable action: argument, pursuit, organized movement, barrier, distant explosion, evacuation, or armed encounter. Record any label such as war or protest only with its speaker or source. Uniforms, vehicles, and flags should be described before identification. If participants or sides remain unclear, keep them unclear. Avoid importing current organizations, locations, or motives from waking news.

Assign roles from actions

Create rows for each person or group: directs, guards, travels, observes, negotiates, hides, helps, blocks, reports, or remains unidentified. Note how you recognize familiar people and whether roles change. Clothing alone may not establish affiliation. If the same figure appears on another side after a cut, preserve both states. Your own role can also change from observer to participant without explaining why.

Separate factual reporting from fiction and games without ranking them. Compare precise details rather than a broad conflict theme. A shared camera angle, phrase, uniform color, or map can be noted as a possible association, not a proven source.

Compare versions without making real-world claims

Use columns for scene type, participants, role, information source, visible boundary, route, first action, local outcome, recent-item match, and ending. Mark whether the scene resolves, changes location, corrects information, continues, or cuts off. Do not use the dream to judge a real side, predict events, or infer hidden facts. The useful result is a clearer separation between remembered media and observed dream construction.

Audit distinctive media features one by one

For a possible source match, compare viewpoint, framing, language, colors, map shape, sound, clothing, vehicle, and sequence. Mark exact, partial, absent, or not remembered for each field. Do not count a broad subject such as conflict as a distinctive match. If several sources share the feature, list them rather than choosing one. This makes the association auditable while preserving the possibility that no recent item corresponds closely to the dream scene.
